Where to start?  Yesterday I spent most of the day trying to come up with two cards for an upcoming workshop.  Some days the creative juices flow and like yesterday it came and went in tiny spurts.  Today I will figure out the two cards to be made…I hope…

Today's card was created using the Movers and Shapers Sizzix BigZ die (114506 – $42.95) with the magnetic window heart shape mover die.  A super easy way to make a quick card!  Since I did not have 12×12 Pretty in Pink in paper I used 8 1/2 x 11" paper instead with the die.  I just cut the paper to 6 x 11", carefully aligned it in the Movers and Shaper die, and rolled it through my Sizzix.  I ran the die through two more times covering the heart die with a small panel of Chocolate Chip and then Real Red paper to create a Chocolate Chip and Real Red Heart. 

Next step was to run the card front through my Sizzix using the Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions folder to add texture to the card front.  OK time to pull the rest of the card together…  The friend heart (from I {Heart} Hearts stamp set) was stamped with Real Red ink on Whisper White paper and punched out with the Full Heart punch.  The 'friend' heart was layered on to the Chocolate Chip heart and carefully adhered to the card's inside using the punched out heart window as a guide.  The Fine Flourish stamp was stamped on Whisper White with Real Red ink.  The Full Heart punch was used again to punch out a heart from the Fine Flourish stamp image.  This was layered on the Real Red Heart (created using the magnetic window heart shape die) and attached to card front overlapping the heart shape opening.  Then for fun  I used the small heart punch to punch out a Real Red heart to add to the center of the Fine Flourish heart shape.   I added some Chocolate Chip satin ribbon and declared the card done!

Despite all the type instructions this card was completed in a jiffy.
