Little One

Oh my!  I cannot recall the last time I made a baby card.  Years?  I just feel all thumbs when it comes to making a card for wee ones!

I like the SU! color combo for this card:  Gable Green, Bashful Blue, and Barely Banana.  The elephant was stamped using Bashful Blue ink and the star was stamped using Barely Banana on Whisper White paper.  Barely Banana was sponged around the stamped elephant.  What you cannot see is the use of dimensionals behind the stamped and punched out star.  I also used dimensionals on the circle die with the stamped elephant.

Mojo Monday sketch challenge 119 provided me my card’s layout.  It was not a super easy sketch for me—yet still a good one to try.  It is good for me to try something that takes me out of my comfort zone.  My comfort zone is usually rectangles and squares.  A ‘geometric’ stamping gal you could say!

My cold is starting to wind down and there is a less of a need to have a kleenex box in arm’s reach.  I am almost feeling human again.  LOL at that one!

Stamp on and with Aloha!  Aloha Jan

  1. Love your card and the soft colors you used. Have a new grandson on the way and these colors are absolutely perfect!
