Holiday cold

Oh dear—somehow I have come down with a cold in the nose.  Bless the person who invented kleenexes though.

Yesterday I played around making some special request cards using a pineapple stamp as the center theme.  The pineapple stamp is by PaperTreyInk as well as the paper used on this card.  The pineapple stem was stamped using SU!’s Old Olive ink.  The pineapple base was stamped using More Mustard and Really Rust (on the stamp edges) ink.  Spellbinder dies were used to create the oval shapes.

Here are a couple more cards I made with the pineapple stamp.  The card on the left has SU!’s More Mustard for a card base with Old Olive paper used for paper mats.  Again, Spellbinder dies were used to help create a focal point on the cards.  The card on the left has more ‘sponging’ (using More Mustard ink) than the card on the right.

Now I need to figure out some Welcome Baby cards.  That’s definitely not my strong suit!

Stamp on and with Aloha!  Aloha Jan
