I am still on the kick of minimal stamping and letting DSP add some zest to the card. What I do not remember is the name for this retired SU! DSP. What I do know is I like green and blue color combination and that’s helped me select this particular DSP.
The card base is Certainly Celery paper. You have probably noticed by now my cards seem to use either Certainly Celery or Old Olive in the color scheme.
Bashful Blue paper was used as mats. The sentiment (Verve stamp) was stamped using Bashful Blue ink on Whisper White paper. The bling is non-SU.
This card is being sent to my dad who is battling cancer. What saddens him is seeing how many young people who are battling cancer too. For him he has lived a long (he will soon be 84), healthy, and happy life. For that, he is ever grateful, and wishes the young people receiving chemo treatment along side him could have been blessed like he was.
I have been busy getting the house spiffed for the upcoming holidays. My cat just does not seem to get the message though. She continues to track kitty litter through the house. Oh yes! Miracles of miracles. I cleaned my stamping area which was looking like a whirlwind had passed through. Next action item for me is to get busy with making some Christmas cookies!
Stamp on and with Aloha! Aloha Jan
