Just a quick post today. There have been different things going on in my life which has kept me from posting. One activity is creating a 2010 calendar for my brother and his wife using SU!’s My Digital Studio (118108 – $79.95). What a blast! I lose track of time while working on my project. I just get so engrossed in creating each month’s page layout using pictures their grown children sent me. It has also been a giggle flagging special days with stamps, embellishments, and punches.
Today’s card features SU!’s Rose Red card stock with Taken with Teal used for matting. The DSP is Bali Breeze (retired) which I pulled from my stash and layered on Pumpkin Pie and Taken with Teal paper. SU!’s scalloped punch was used to create the scalloped border on the Taken with Teal paper. Spellbinder dies were used to create the scalloped circle from Taken with Teal Paper and the flower from Pumpkin pie paper and rose red. The flower was sponged using Rose Red ink. Pumpkin Pie grosgrain ribbon was used to complete the card.
