Yesterday we kayaked outside of Kawaihae Harbor (Big Island) until a onshore wind started to make too many waves for my comfort level. We were hoping to spot one of the many humpback whales that winter over in Hawaii. Although we did not see any they should be showing up in numbers any day now.
My good friend Waimea Nancy loaned me some Christmas-themed Sizzlet dies the other day. The dies will be used to create festive decorations for an upcoming fund raising event. Woo Hoo! Another great use for my stash of SU! paper!
What happened though is I got sidetracked by the Holly Leaves die… Here’s the card that I made
I just thought the Holly Leaves would make a great looking card!
The card base is Always Artichoke matted with retired SU! Christmas DSP (almost out…). The Holly Leaves were made with Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery paper and the berries from Real Red. The sentiment was stamped with Real Red ink on white paper, punched out with SU!’s small oval punch, and matted on Always Artichoke paper punched using SU!’s Scallop oval punch. The Holly Leaves were affixed to a White card panel that’s matted to Real Red paper.
Stamp on and with Aloha!
