SU!’s retired stamp set, Snowflakes, is an oldie yet a goodie to me. The large snowflake from this stamp set was used for today’s cards focal point.
The snowflake was stamped on SU!’s Night of Navy paper (cut out using a Spellbinder circle die) with Encore Gold and embossed with SU!’s gold embossing powder. A gold brad was placed in the snowflake’s center. The stamped snowflake piece was matted on SU!’s Brush Gold paper cut out using a Spellbinder scallop die.
I dipped in to my stash and found some long-time retired vellum with soft white swirls. Perfect—it reminded of a snow storm in progress! That was layered on top of the card’s base made with Night of Navy paper.
The card’s sentiment was stamped on Whisper White paper with Encore Gold and embossed with gold powder. Gold ribbon was used to attach the stamped image (created by a Spellbinder label die) to the card front.
Oh, yes! Today’s card is based on Verve’s Mojo Monday sketch 115.
Stamp on and with Aloha!
