I have a crush on SU!’s Crushed Curry. It’s just such a bright and cheery color—almost makes me want to dance. True confession, I have two left feet and when I dance it’s an interesting sight so to speak.
Dance on anyway!
How was your 4th of July weekend? Mine went way too fast. The good news is I didn’t get a sunburn. Yeah!
My SU! In-Color ribbon order hasn’t arrived so I used my grosgrain Pumpkin Pie ribbon. Soon I’ll be sharing cards with the new In-Color ribbon… The three black dots underneath the ribbon are from the black daisies flower centers. I just couldn’t let them go to waste.
This card was made without using a stamp set. A SU! rub-on sentiment was used instead of stamping a saying. Hey, some times it’s just so much easier to use a rub-on. OK, I also get a kick from rubbing on the sentiment (this time I used my fingernail since I was too lazy to look for an appropriate tool). The remainder of the card was pulled together using my SU! Sizzix Daisies #2 die (a fav of mine) and SU!’s texturz plate-small polka dots. The photo unfortunately does not show the raised polka dots to well.
It’s time for me to tackle my Monday chores. Sigh. Stamp on and with Aloha!
