Just Because

This album contains 2 items.

Here’s the card I made for a good friend who is in the hospital recoverying from major back surgery.  Karen, my friend, has the most beautiful smile and the biggest, loving warm heart of about anyone I know.  And that’s not just because she loves cats like I do.

Saturday is alright with me

This album contains 2 items.

My computer keeps wonking out each time I try to create a post.  Aaaarggghh and grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Today’s card was created based on Taylored Expressions ‘SOATE’ card challenge on the Stamp Out Alzheimers (SOA) fund raiser social network site.   You receive an extra chance to win a prize for a Happy Birthday theme—and that sounded the way to [...]

Oceans of Fun

soamojo - Stamping Out Alzheimers Mojo ChallengeI have to admit the octopus I’ve seen to date have never been quite as cute as this stamped one.

I used the Verve Mojo Monday card challenge (week 88) for creating this card.  So many beautiful cards have been created using this sketch.  It is turning out to be one of my favorites by Verve.

The octopus from the Our Craft Lounge’s Oceans of Fun” stamp set seemed just perfect for this Mojo Monday challenge.   This is a stamp set I have been wanting to try ever since I purchased it from Our Craft Lounge.  It’s a stamp set I knew instantly would be versatile and fun to add to my existing stamp collection.  I also purchased “Life’s a Beach” so the “Oceans of Fun” stamp set wouldn’t feel lonely surrounded by all my SU! stamp sets.  Doesn’t that sound logical to a person addicted to stamping and scrapbooking?!
